Playwrighting

An aspiring playwright, Geoffrey’s plays have been featured in The San Diego International Fringe Festival, The Chameleon, and at Saint Mary’s College in their Under 30: A Festival of One-Acts, ELIZA. His newest project, These Four Walls, combines his fondness for the mythos of the American West with a focus on the cyclical nature of paternal abuse.

Reviews of The Chameleon:

“Riveting and thoroughly enjoyable to see the true story unfold. The plot is full of surprises, and some of the biggest are the manner in which people get deceived by the unbelievable lies that that fuel the story…he also intelligently succeeds in depicting the Frenchman as a human being. In the process, he has created a haunting study of the skills, stress and consequences of being an impersonator.” - David Dixon, San Diego Story

“Geoffrey Ulysses Geissinger does an impressive job with the swiftly moving story, deftly timing the plot twists” - Rebecca Romani, Vanguard Culture
